We had the pleasure of visiting the job site and spending some time with the crew at J&J Excavating while they were raising and setting iron.
These castings are heavy and often require several adjustments to get properly positioned. Using the Manhole Buddy Tool made the process easier by reducing manual labor and helping minimize the risk of injury.
Along with the Manhole Buddy Tool for handling the castings, the crew also used the magnet to lift the lids and plates. While the pictures and videos show the tools being used separately, the Manhole Buddy Tool and magnet can be hung together and set aside with the lid and casting until they’re needed again.
The verbal feedback from the crew was 100% positive. It was clear they were relieved to have these safety tools available to help make the job easier and reduce the physical demands of handling heavy castings and lids.
Less manual labor. More efficiency. A safer way to get the job done.
It was great to see the Manhole Buddy Tool and magnet in action on the job site!
A big thank you to J&J Excavating and crew for welcoming us to the job site and allowing us to capture some pictures and videos of the Manhole Buddy Tool and magnet in action. We appreciate you!
